Inspired by the life of Selema Masekela, son of Hugh Masekela (exiled South African musician of Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Paul Simon’s ‘Graceland’), this is the story of a son emerging out of the shadow of his successful but troubled father and set against a backdrop of music, surfing and the waning days of Apartheid.
